The original building lacked running water and indoor plumbing, but had a kitchen located in a shed at the rear of the facility and, of course, the legendary outhouse. In later years, an addition was built onto the south side which doubled the square footage of the building; at the same time a new kitchen, partial basement, the long-awaited indoor plumbing and a well-needed storage room were also added.
The Hall is wide and high with a small stage, a kitchen area with fridge, stove and microwave, and a bar area with separate fridge where drinks can be prepared and served. Many wedding receptions have been held at the Hall, the stage providing a spot for live entertainment after the wedding ceremony. There are two modern restrooms located in the basement.
Outside at the rear of the building is a large grassy area frequently used for setting up a marquee tent - an ideal solution for larger receptions. It can also be used as a recreational area for games or as parking for trailers, making the Hall a perfect location for your next family reunion.
The Hall has tables and comfortable chairs available up to the maximum seating number of 90 persons, creating a choice of seating arrangements.
